Hehee… Dapet kiriman CD dari Mas Adhit ni ceritanya

No no no no. I wont make you envy. Ini juga dapet kiriman karena status saya yang fakir bandwidth sejak K800 yang sekaligus modem saya meninggal dengan santainya, jadi keadaan saya ndak memungkinkan buat download lagu-lagu nya.

Di album kedua ini, lagu-lagunya lebih sareh. Less anger, kira-kira gitu lah menurut saya. Apa mungkin faktor usia juga Mas? Track favorit saya mungkin After The Rain, The Stalker sama Bandaged. Not sure, perlu banyak dengarken lagi keliatane.

Ada seorang teman yang berbaik hati mengirimkan hasil karyanya pada saya. Dan terus terang, saya adalah penggemar karya-karya nya yang serba simpel. Dibuat dengan Garage Band (editor musik freeware, yang terbundling tiap kita beli mac) dengan proses recording yang simpel dibandingkan dengan rekaman di studio, didistribusikan secara simpel, cukup download, ndak usah bayar, dan musik yang simpel pula. Easy listening…

Sebenere, sudah cukup lama Mas Adhit mengirimkan CD itu. Tapi kok ya baru berterima kasih sekarang *dasar kurang ajar, ngapain wae sejak 19 Maret?* . Sekali lagi, thanks Mas, sudah dibagi karya sampeyan yang luar biasa simpel, tapi superior. Simply superior! – kok malah jadi kayak iklan … ya

But, I’m not quite happy about Radit’s attitude dimana di blog dia langsung nge-link ke file nya, yang berarti melanggar TOS yang saya tentukan atau membuat pembacanya melanggar TOS saya ketika orang mendownload lagunya Adhit. Hm.. setelah beberapa hari yang lalu, tak diduga-duga, Kang Adhit datang ke blog acakadut ini, dan ngasih tahu kalo versi demo dari full album nya sudah bisa di download. GRATISSSS!!!

Hi people,

Thanks for downloading this demo version album.

So……why is it a demo version?

Well, I originally did this quick recording to be submitted to people at Nubuzz. It didn’t need to be perfect as they only wanted to hear the songs, not how well it recorded or do they have good compositions, well-mixed, well-mastered etc. Basically this is not the ready product to sell.

But unfortunately Nubuzz haven’t got any clear regulations in releasing any full albums yet, at least that’s up until I wrote this note. So I’m off to do this on my own.

At the moment I’m doing the real recording session for the album in the comfort of my bedroom at home. I want everything finished before the end of this year (hopefully, I didn’t know I was so picky about guitar tones, I kept changing my gear and recording set-ups, as Katy Perry said, like a girl change her clothes).

But it means that the demo recordings I’ve made are just going to sit there in vain….hmmmmm…..but wait….why not give them away to everyone?

As a free bedroom musician who isn’t obligated to any serious musical contract, I’m still so entitled to do anything I want with my music.

This demo album originally contains 11 songs, but I took out song number 10 because I need to re-work it, plus it will be something to look out for on the real full album.

No lyrics will be officially given at this point. No artwork will be shown. And for those inspiring guitarists out there, no guitar tabs for now my friends (guitar tabs are a bitch to do, have you guys tried doing one yourselves? For short guitar licks may not be hard, but the whole song?!….geeeezz)

Anyway, enjoy the demo songs.
